Another excellent 2012 study concludes drinking molecular hydrogen infused water’s impact on Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)
The study also shows that H2 water had an ongoing therapeutic affect and remained efficacious even during the washout period.. wow!
The study concluded that consumption of water containing a high concentration of molecular hydrogen reduces oxidative stress and disease activity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. It was an an open-label pilot study of twenty patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) They drank 530 ml of water containing 4 to 5 ppm molecular hydrogen (high H2 water) every day for 4 weeks.
After a 4-week wash-out period, the patients drank the high H2 water for another 4 weeks. In total 47.4% of patients (9/19) achieved the remission, except for one patient who had been in remission at the baseline assessment. All the 5 patients with early RA (duration < 12 months) who did not show antibodies against cyclic citrullinated peptides (ACPAs) achieved remission, and 4 of them became symptom-free at the end of the study.
Ian: Note that the high levels of H2 are higher than any water ionizer can produce. here at AlkaWay we use our high H2 water from our UltraStream to fill a 300ml bottle. We then add TWO tablets of I LOVE H2 and cap the bottle. This prevents the H2 from leaving and concentrates it far more. Normally, all it takes is 5-10m to dissolve the tablets and infuse the added H2. We then drink the whole bottle.
