AlkaWay Standard Warranty in Australia
- Coverage: All products supplied by AlkaWay are covered by a 12-month Manufacturer’s Warranty against defects, starting from the purchase date unless otherwise specified.
- Warranty Against Defects: This warranty ensures that if the goods or services (or any part of them) are defective, AlkaWay will:
- Repair or replace the goods (or any part of them), or
- Provide a refund according to AlkaWay’s Refund Policy.
- Refund Policy: Please refer to AlkaWay’s Refund Policy. This policy adheres to Australian Consumer Guarantees (ACCC).
- Proof of Purchase: The warranty period begins from the date of purchase. To validate your warranty, keep a copy of your Proof of Purchase (invoice), as it will be required if a warranty claim is made.
- Fault Reporting: If you report a fault within 14 working days of purchase, we will replace the item.
- Return Instructions: To return a product, contact us on 1800 268 469 to receive return instructions and a Return Authority Number (RA#). Returns without an RA# will not be accepted.
- Freight Costs: The cost of freight is the responsibility of the purchaser and is not included in our product price.
- Warranty Limitations: The Manufacturer’s Warranty applies ONLY to NON-COMMERCIAL end-users and covers defects in materials and manufacturing. It does not cover defects resulting from misuse, neglect, mishandling, incorrect installation, overdue filter replacement, insect infestation, or failure to prevent calcium build-up in hard water areas.
- Exclusions: Water replacement filters or cartridges are consumables and are not covered under the Manufacturer’s Warranty against defects unless broken during delivery or there is a manufacturer defect. The effectiveness of water filters depends on the quality of the source water and may fail if excessive contaminants and sediment enter the filter.
- Source Water Conditions: AlkaWay cannot control source water conditions. In some cases, certain contaminants may block the filter, potentially causing the filter casing to leak in extreme cases.
- Filter Replacement: Water filters must be replaced at least every 12 months, or earlier as specified. AlkaWay customers will receive filter replacement reminders by email every 12 months from their purchase date.
- Authorized Resellers: The Manufacturer’s Warranty extends to AlkaWay-supplied products to AlkaWay Authorized Resellers. The warranty starts from the purchase date, and any refund payable will be made via the Authorized Reseller.
